I am excited that my watercolor "Looking Back" was accepted into the Texas & Neighbors Five State Exhibit. The show runs April 20 through May 26 at the Irving Art Center in Irving, Texas. The work in this show was created by artists living in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana and is presented by the Irving Art Association and the Irving Arts Center. This is the 28th Texas Regional Art Exhibition.

The painting is from a series of photographs that I captured in Ft. Worth, Texas. If you want to see real cowboys, Ft. Worth is a city that caters to them and combines a wonderful western flavor with a sophisticated arts community. Where else can you walk from a rodeo or cattle show to several world class art museums?
